A Montage of space battle scenes from the entirety of the sci-fi TV series Babylon 5, including the movies. It's set to some of the most epic and powerful film trailer music I could find, and I hope you enjoy! If you're curious about the music, I will NOT tell you where to get most of it. However, if you enjoy it, 2 of the songs are available on Two Steps From Hell's album "Invincible" (Credited as Power of Darkness, which they are also on). It's possibly the greatest CD ever. Starvation will be available on the yet-to-be-released Nemesis 2 by the same group. I did not include Crusade in this, as it was not filmed in widescreen and it would have thrown the whole thing out of whack. I also did not include Legend of the Rangers (there wasn't room really. I also might not like it too much).

To cap off Anniversary Week for CITY OF HEROES (which celebrated its sixth birthday by launching Issue 17: Dark Mirror), I offer for your viewing enjoyment "Retrospective," which takes you through six years, seventeen issues, and three releases of CITY OF HEROES! To the best of my ability, I tried to keep things as appropriate to the timeline as I could. Human nature being what it is, though, you may occasionally see something that is 'anachronistic.' To that end, I claim the Rule of Cool (look it up on TvTropes.org). Also, little cameos and references abound in this video - see if you can spot them all! Once again, Samuraiko Productions teams with BADADAM (follow him on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/ofbadadam - great stuff!), with "Retrospective" featuring his track "M.S.T." Its rocking rhythm and hard edge perfectly suited the in-your-face action that is our favorite MMORPG. Earlier this year I got pretty bored and decided to do something creative in my spare time. I've been wanting to do a fight scene for a while and decided to develop a story using World of Warcraft. Animation is what I do and I decided to use my skills in making something. This is only the second personal creative work I've ever posted so I'm a bit nervous about it. The first being an image I painted years ago which...um... we don't talk about. :) It's a bit nerve-wracking to post creative work for others to judge. I've thought about making this a series but I'm faced with an impending layoff so my future is unclear. If I get a positive reaction I'm sure I'll be working on something else in the future. ----------------- update December 29, 2008 First off I'd like to thank all of you for all of the compliments and even the criticisms. I set out to try and make something I think would be cool and hoped others would think so too. It has to do with me being laid off from work earlier this year. I had to focus on finding a job so I quit WoW because, I'm sure you would agree, playing WoW takes up a lot of time, lol. Since my forced break from WoW I've lost my interest in playing although I still visit the WoW blogs and am still part of the officers mailing list for my guild. Maybe I'll find something that'll motivate me to play again. :) I think I'd have to start playing again in order to be motivated to make more The Craft of War videos. --------------------------------------------------------- update - August 1, 2010 Hey everyone. I've replied to a few emails about this but I figured others might want to know that I've been working on another animated short. Like before I'm working on it in my spare time so it's still a long way from being done. I'm attempting to create my own characters along with the animations so this is a more ambitious project than BLIND.
